Qualifications
•12+ years of experience in petrophysical interpretation and operations.
•Proficiency in computer based interpretation in a petrophysical software package
•Ability to successfully interact, and work well in integrated teams.
•Experience in reservoir characterization in deepwater basins.
Responsibilities
•Work in a group that supports various regions across the company.
•Perform rapid formation evaluation in support of well operations.
•Provide mentoring to junior level petrophysicists working in the same region.
•Participate in the planning and execution of formation evaluation programs to optimize project team objectives.
•Provide responsive, expert technical petrophysical advice and service to the Exploration & Asset teams in an accurate and timely manner in support of well evaluation planning, ongoing well operations, and petrophysical studies.
•Undertake petrophysical regional studies to support exploration & development teams in their efforts to evaluate new basins/plays and improve reservoir characterization of strategic assets.
•Interface with asset/exploration team & Petrophysics department to maximize knowledge and technology transfer
