Job Description: Assist the Project Expansion Project Upstream/Downstream Team in administering contracting and procurement support through pre-FEED and FEED phases. Responsibilities will include: • Implementation of contracting & procurement strategies and plans for Upstream/Downstream work scope to meet Capital Stewardship and Operational Excellence objectives • Assist in negotiating contract and purchase order terms and arrangements • Assist in monitoring contracts performance and coordinate administration of all types of contracts • Assist in identifying, evaluating and mitigating potential claims as well as resolving actual contract claims • Provide advice and guidance on contracting and procurement activities • Supporting Contract Owners with preparation and presentation of contract award recommendations and contract changes to Contracts Committee • Providing advice and guidance to Contract Owners and Project Team regarding interpretation of contracts, and correspondence with Contractors, policies and procedures • Providing assistance to Contract Owners in the creation of Instructions to Tenderers and letters for issue to contractors • Ensure project expectations are clearly specified in contracts for reporting, compliance, invoices, back to back terms and conditions with contractors/suppliers etc.

Education: University degree in relevant discipline – e.g engineering, business studies or similar

Experience: At least 10 – 15 years relevant experience in industry, including experience in Upstream/Downstream projects

Preferred Skills: Contract negotiations and administration. Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, commitment to team work, adherence to company processes and procedures

Additional Comments: 12 month assignment, 8 hour day,
